My Question or Issue
I recently switched phones to the Pixel 4, and I seemed to have lost a feature in the move over; I used to be able to control playback from the lock screen, but now that seems to be gone.
It's still accessible from the notifications drawer, but that's a bit of a hassle when you're juggling your phone whilst running or on an exercise bike... Is this feature just gone?
Fixed:
Google, trying to be clever, disabled all widgets if you have Face Unlock on and have the setting to "Skip Lock Screen" ("After Face Unlock, go directly to last used screen").
Lock Screen widgets and that setting aren't directly in contradiction with each other (like when my phone's on a table and I'm not staring over it), but I can kinda follow the logic on that one.
