3 months for $11.99

Hi All,

I clicked on an offer within the spotify desktop app that said spotify premium for three months for $11.99.

I checked my account and now it says that I will be charged again (11.99) on the first of the month?

I was under the impression it was all three months for 11.99

Yeah when ever I click on the offer it just comes up with the normal $11.99 per month payment instead of the offer, kind of looks like spotify is scamming its users

I have the same issue, the add here in Australia said 99 cents per month for three months!!! 

So annoyed - I will cancel and go to Soundcloud which is absolutely for free!

I saw that one too! I am annoyed as well (I am from australia too) 

I was really enjoying spotify - now I am rethinking it. 

As a student I have to be careful what I commit too! Australia isn't even part of the student discount for spotify premium

I've noticed the same, and is the reason why I haven't taken up the offer.

I just activated my premium with the same offer and got the same stuff. So i was wondering if you guys had to pay again the next month ?

Hey,

I've subscribed the the £0.99/month deal currently but am not having this issue. I recommend contacting Spotify using the contact form and they should be able to clarify (or refund if you've been mischarged).

So I emailed Spotify about it because I was really interested in the deal they were offering.

They emailed back saying I wasn't eligible for it because the Terms and Conditions say "Our $11.99 3-month offer is only available for subscribers who previously had Premium but reverted to Free before April 19th".

Since I had Premium until early June, I wasn't eligible for it. It was nice that they explained why I couldn't get it, but a bit annoying since I couldn't view the Terms and Conditions myself when I clicked on the ad.

p.s. the 3 months for 99 cents is a different deal that you can only get if you get Premium for the first time (what I had before I went back to free) 🙂

I forgot to mention: if you have had Premium or a Premium trial before, you will not be eligible for the offer and will be charged the full amount.

Apologies for the late reply, you would be charged the full amount after a promotion, you'll always be told this before starting your plan. However, you can cancel at any time and your plan will continue until the end of the promotional period.
