30 day offline limit extension?

Hi all,

I know that the limit for listening offline is 30 days before the app needs to connect to the internet to send playback information and to check that the account is still active.

However, as part of my PhD I'll be travelling to Antarctica for 16 weeks. During this time there is extremely limited internet, and last season I was south I wasn't able to connect to Spotify servers.

Is there some possibility of extending the 30 day timeframe given these circumstances? I'd hate to have to turn to alternative methods.

We'd love to help you make your trip better, but we're afraid it's not possible to extend our 30-day limit for listening offline.
