Logging in from Canada to a Premium Family account (also based in Canada)

 

Created my daughter an account and invited her to our Premium Family account. But when she tries to accept the invitation it says her username (a Gmail address) isn't linked to a Spotify account; but when we try to create a new account using the same user ID is says its already linked to an account... more perplexing, when we try to reset the password for same username, it also says its not associated with an account.

 

More than happy to wipe the slate clean and start fresh if that's the easiest, but cannot figure out how to make that happen.

 

Appreciate any insight!

In this case, I'd recommend getting in touch with Customer Support. They'll take a look and do their best to help.
