My Question or Issue

Spotify is asking me to renew my email address otherwise I’ll lose my account (Premium Student). When I enter the new address I use on a daily basis, it says that it is already used for another account, therefore I cannot succeed changing the address. There’s also an account suggestion of the person I once bought my iPhone from.  What needs to be done?

Thank you for posting on the Community!

 

If you need to update your email address and it shows that it's already in use, then we suggest you access the account that is registered under that email and delete it with these steps. 

 

In case of doubt with all the accounts you mention, then we suggest you contact the folks from Customer Support who can take a deeper look into them. Here is the link.
