All playlists are empty and I can't play songs

Solved!

All playlists are empty and I can't play songs

Xiaomi Lite 12

Xiaomi HyperOS

My Question or Issue

I logged into my account and saw that I can't play a single song and absolutely all playlists are empty. I don't know what this could be connected with. Moreover, this problem is only in the application. There is no such problem on the website. What should I do to fix my account? I have already reinstalled the app.

I been having this issue for 3 days just staying silent watching more and more replies come up, to see you mods just pin the same thing over and over again like some bots is so funny. Like do you guys even care that we pay all this money for this stuff? For not being able to use the app for days? Are we going to get a refund off that? You don't care do you...

which version could you pls tell me? because i have to confess for me it's actually the modded versions that don't work, the obly thing that works is the real spotify from the play store, but I refuse to use that lol.

Hi! I still have the same problem even though my country is the right one. I have a free account. It works on the web but not the app. Do you have any recommendation on how to fix it?

Thanks!!

The same has been happening to my Spotify, but I don't use it on a computer, strictly on my phone. Is there any way I can get it to work again? Since all of your responses are about computers but not phones

hi okxyyy just uninstall it and reinstall it to fix it.

Alex we are all here because reinstalling the app doesn't work 😄

i'm having the same issue. have you figured anything out?

I never used any modded versions. Don't even know that was possible.

The issue is still here and it's so disappointing that I don't even see anything from the mods. Why are you so silent? We tried your tips and the problem is still here for everyone...

My brother uses a modded version. He doesn't have this issue tho. So i suppose its random. Maybe they have some plans about keeping modded accounts at bay, but so far I also read about not modded accounts unusable. And thats just collective punishment, if intended.

If this doesn't get fixed soon, I'll switch over to other Apps. So far Spotify has only been unreliable and greedy. This problem only increases the mistrust.

why was my topic merged with this one? it's not related. I'm a premium user and haven't changed countries for at least a few months.

My playlist music is blocked. When I try to play a song, it won’t play. When I open my playlist, it appears empty and prompts me to add songs, even though I have over 2,000 songs in it. On top of that, I can’t even add new songs, despite the app telling me to add songs to this 'empty' playlist. I haven’t changed my country or anything—all I did was update the app, and then this happened.
This only happens on my phone—the PC application and web version still work. If this doesn’t get fixed or unblocked, is there a way to transfer all my playlists and liked songs to another app where I can listen to them? I also don’t want to make a new account.

I can't log into that client, and I could only create a new account, so still waiting for a fix on the original app..

More people have this issue by the day. I haven't had a functional Spotify in days.

Hey everyone,

We've passed your details on to the right team for further investigation. In the meantime, we highly recommend that you try a reinstall from the Play store whenever it's convenient to you, as that has been the confirmed fix for the issues you're experiencing.

Hello Yordan,

Reinstallation is not a confirmed fix. It doesn't help at all.
Please check my comment above and from other users.

Thank you.

I wonder how many times do we need to say that reinstall doesn't work 🫥 How is it a confirmed fix when the issues persists to like.. all of us?

Just like Microsoft, providing unhelpful answers and marking them as the solution.

Two accounts, three devices.

On PC, Spotify is absolutely fine for me.

It's only on Android devices that all songs are unplayable.

They expect us to pay a disgusting premium price when issues like this last weeks?

Pathetic.

Hey OscarDC, what you said didn't help at all. There are still a ton of people where none of this worked. So you might want to change this post to unsolved.

Can now confirm creating a new account is a fix for now.

Logging in via mobile browser is also broken, so app version clearly isn't to blame.

If your playlists are public, save the share links for them and then in the new account, go save them.

You could also make your new account a collaborator so you don't need to shift between them to modify.
