Amex card - not enough space for 4 digit security number

Spotify just invited me to change my payment method, and offers American Express as a card option. However, the field for the 4 digit security code only accepts 3 digits.

I am therefore unable to use my American Express card for payment. Does anyone else have this problem?

I also just encountered this problem.  Already using AMEX, just need to change numbers as the card was replaced.  Code field won't accept the 4th digit.

Just to follow-up for anyone else encountering this and coming here first -- the solution for me was to use the incognito window feature in my regular use Chrome browser.  No cookie interference.
