Belgium Country Login Problem

Hi,


Spotify keeps reporting that I am using the application in a foreign country, without indicating which one.

My profile indicates country Belgium, and that is where I am based.

Can somebody help me out.

Hey @daviddemey Please try signing out and signing back in again. 

 

Are you using a proxy at work or school? If so it might fool Spotify into thinking you're abroad if you don't sign in again for 14 days. 

 

Let us know if that gives you trouble again!

It's worth trying a quick re-install:

Sometimes the Spotify app appears to get confused.

Thanks for the feedback, tried it but got the same problem, only now it is stating it in the login screen and no longer in the the app.

Looks like that IP check didn't return a country which might be why you are having issues. I'm asking around the staff for you at the minute.

Thanks this works, yes this is at work behind a proxy.

Be sure to sign in on an IP address in your home country (Belgium) at least every 2 weeks. That way your account isn't marked as abroad for more than 14 days as a free user.
