Can I temporary disable Facebook and still use my Spotify account meanwhile?

I've created my Spotify account through Facebook and I know that I have to create a new account if I want to fully delete my Facebook account.

But my question is, can I just temporary disable my Facebook account (not fully deleted) and still use this Spotify account? That would be cool cause if I create a new Spotify account I'll have to wait 10 months to be able to use the students premium plan again.

If you previously created a Spotify account then connected it to Facebook, there is an easy way to disconnect your Facebook account from your account. On Windows, go to Edit > Preferences, and there should be a button near the top of the page saying ‘Disconnect from Facebook’. Simply click that button and your account will be disconnected from Facebook (however, you will have to know your Spotify user + pass)

If you disconnect account from Facebook can you choose a user name and will you have set up payment for premium again?
