Can't Create Device Password

I'm trying to create a device password, but keep getting the following error:

"We're sorry, your email address was not available, please try to log out, log back in and try again. If the problem continues, please contact support."

I'm logged in with facebook, so I assume it has something to do with that. I've logged out and back in multiple times with no luck. Also, my email address shows up in my account profile. Any help appreciated.

Spotify is looking into an issue with device passwords at the moment. For now, the workaround is to head to facebook.com > Settings > Security > App passwords > Generate app passwords, and generate one to use with Spotify.
