Can't find a way to switch from current premium to student premium

Can't find a way to switch from current premium to student premium

I have been trying for a few hours now to get signed up for the Spotify student discount. I already have a current premium subscription so I searched up how to change from a regular premium subscription to student premium subscription by the next billing cycle. I tried using this step-by-step process: https://support.spotify.com/us/problems/#!/article/can-I-get-the-us-student-discount-if-i-have-premi... under the "Can I Get the US Student Discount if I Have Premium?". However, after Step #3 when it has you login, my broswer just takes me directly to my account page instead of bringing up the prompt to signup for the student discount. Is there another way to sign up for student discount premium? I'm so confused!

Can you please confirm that you have gone through your uni verification process and that you were succesful.
You can find out whether you're eligible for our student discount by entering your details at: https://www.spotify.com/us/student/

Please note that if your university or college isn't currently listed, you won't be eligible for the discount at this point in time.

Sorry for the trouble! There is currently a glitch with the student discount page for some people. The website team is still trying to fix it.

If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the community, you need to reply back to it.

Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.

No sorry Mattburnin, I have not gone through verification. That is what I am attempting to do. However, when I click on the link you posted to check if I'm eligible or not, it just takes me to the login page, where I login, but instead of sending me to the verification page, it just sends me to my account overview page.

Please check: 
You can submit for manual verification. Note: this can take up to 12 hours. 
 
  1. You are using a payment method from the U.S.
  2. Your Spotify account is set to the U.S.
Finally If you are still having problems, please contact customer service

Hopefully the manual submission will work. If Spotify customer service doesn't get back to me in 24 hours then I'll try this solution. If neither things work, I'll try coming back to this post and seeing if anyone else has any help lol.
