Can't log in

Today on my mac the Spotify icon had changed to the applications icon (made up of stationery) and wouldn't open. I followed the instructions on uninstalling and reinstalling Spotify and I can now open Spotify. However, I cannot log in. I keep on getting error code 3. I have tried changing my password twice which hasn't worked and I have now noticed that Spotify on my phone won't let me log in either (my password is apparently incorrect here too). Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks.
