Can't play certain songs only from my Account

My Question or Issue

So I'm facing an issue where I can't play certain songs/ albums from any of my devices. I have tried playing from my Phone, the desktop app and even the web player. Shared the albums to a couple of friends to double check if the songs were available in the region.. and they were able to play them with no problems. 

I created a throwaway account and tried playing from my phone and that worked too. But once I login to original premium one it just doesn't play.

 

Have even tried uninstalling, reinstalling,  logging out of all devices. 

 

Any ideas on how to fix this 😔

We really appreciate you going through the recommended steps and sending over all these details!

 

Could you make sure you don't have the artist Harris Jayaraj (and any other artists who's songs you have trouble playing) blocked in the mobile app?

 

It would show like this when you tap the 3-dot menu on the artist page:

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Community.

 

Just to confirm, have you tried a clean reinstall of the Spotify app on your device? We recommend the steps in that guide, as they’re very thorough and make sure no damaged leftover files remain. These changes tend to solve issues like the one you're experiencing. Give your device a quick restart as well before you open the newly installed app. 

 

If that doesn't help thing, we'd appreciate screenshots or a recording of how the songs appear at your end. Please include a link to some of the titles as well so we can test them out ourselves.

Thanks for the suggestions.

 

I have tried the steps provided here 'clean reinstall' a couple of times on both my Mobile device and Laptop, but it hasn't fixed the issue. Some of songs still don't play. 

 

I uninstalled the apps on both the devices and tried playing using the 'Webplayer' too, and that didn't work either.

@Xenia, I had the exact same thing that MG2 had, but when i looked to see if the artist was blocked, they weren't. Yet i still was not able to play the songs.
