Can't reset password. Can't Make new account.

I likely had an account years ago.

I wanted to sign in using my student email to buy premium to get Hulu.

I guessed at the password. Didn't work.

I tried the reset password - email not found.

I tried to make new account - email already in use.

I had to make a new account to post in Community.

Any ideas on what to do?

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community. 

If you can access your student email but didn't receive a password reset link after following the related procedure, would you mind trying the same with a PC/laptop and in a Incognito window or after clearing the cache and cookies of your web browser? 

Furthermore, would you mind double-checking all the folders in your student email (including the Spam) to see if the password reset email from Spotify ended up in any of them after you follow the steps above?

Thanks for getting back to us.

If you're not able to reset your password or sign up using your student email address, it's possible that your old account's been disabled for security reasons.

You mention that you'd like to subscribe to the out Student Premium + Hulu + Showtime offer and we can confirm that you don't need to use your student email on your Spotify account in order to activate the discount.

We use SheerID for student verification and you just need to get a confirmation from them to get started. You can click here and fill in your information.
