Can you use a Spotify Gift card if you have a recurring subscription?

My Question or Issue

Hi y'all. I am currently subscribed to Spotify Premium individual which costs $11/month. The payments are automatically taken from my credit card each and every month. If I am to use a Spotify Premium 1-month Gift card on the same account, will my credit card not be charged for that month? Or... will my credit card continue to be charged $11/month, rendering the gift card useless?

You can login to the website to check the status of your subscription.

In there you'll know until when you will have Premium status.

If you successfully redeem your giftcard, that date should move one month forward, and it will be on that date when your credit card should be charged again.
