This is related to Case:  02866042, support request: 00DDpxIW.500DuZ7RP

 

 

I joined around 3/30 with a free 1 month premium subscription. I canceled before 4/28 and verified by going back into the Spotify desktop app. Now when I access my account online I see a reciept for $9.99 and I appear to be signed up for premium. I've completed 2 contact forms about this but appear to be getting the same automated reply...

 

"We're really sorry to hear you’d like to cancel your Premium subscription.

Will the 50% discounts offered in our Spotify Family or Student Discount plans convince you to stay and enjoy on-demand, ad-free music available on or off the internet?....."

 

Therefor I am posting here. I just want to cancel and have my money retuned as I should not have been charged in the first place. 

 

Please advise on how I can do this.

Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.

If you still have not gotten a reply:

Did you get a confirmation email from the contact form? It should be similar to "Spotify Support Case #XXXXXXX". If so, reply back to that email and tell them you still need help.

 

If you got an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the community, you need to reply back to it saying you still need help, even if it's from a no-reply address.

 

If you never got an email, look in your spam folder to see if there is an email in there. Make sure you are checking the email account you used to sign up to Spotify. You can check the email on your account here.
