Does anyone know how to permanently delete your Spotify account?

I'm sorry to hear that. If you definitely want to close your Spotify account permanently you can do this here. Account > I want to close my account permanently

You will loose:

• Your username, it can’t be used again with Spotify.
• Your saved music.
• Your playlists.
• Your followers.

I've tried this process twice. No reply, account still active.

Like many internet companies, you are attempting to inflate your user base for commercial reasons by making it extremely difficult to delete na account.

Don't worry. I had the same problem when I tried to delete an old Spotify account. I got the email for finally canceling my account a few days later. I don't know why, but you can still receive an confirmation email.

Did you already take a look into your spam folder? Maybe the email is in it. If you're not receiving any email in the next days just let me know - we will figure something out 😉
