Closing all active sessions

Closing all active sessions

Over the summer I logged into my Spotify account from someone else's phone while hanging out at a pool party. Before I left I attempted to log out of my account on that phone, but it appears that since it was an Android phone the session didn't fully close. Now I'm permanently logged in on some rando's phone and even though I've changed my password and tried to close all sessions through Spotify online, I still get interference from this guy trying to listen to my account at the same time I am. Please help! Is there any way to actually log me out everywhere?

Hey @ewichern1,

Weird. If you clicked the option to sign out from all devices in your account's main control panel (at the very bottom),  it should logout of everything, including other people's devices.

You should ask for a password reset. That should prompt him to input the new password the next time he uses the app.

Are you sure you didn't login to another device? Some devices, like Sonos, bluetooth speakers, or PS4s, keep the connection to Spotify even after password changes, because of how the API works.
