Disabled Facebook and lost username

My Question or Issue

I disabled Facebook for a while, so Spotify thought I "deleted" it and randomized my username. I logged back into Facebook but my Facebook account isn't linked anymore, I tried going to settings>social to unlink facebook but I can't even do that. Also tried contacting support, they told me to delete Spotify from the apps on Facebook and log back in again through Facebook. Still have a random username. Is there any way to fix this? I prefer my actual name and picture, my friends can't see me in their feed anymore, I really don't wanna reset my whole account.

Thanks for coming to the community with your query! That seems odd. Since your friends cannot see you in their feed, is it possible that you may have the 'Publish Activity' setting swithed off when you go into 'Social' in 'Settings' on Spotify app?
Now this is a link that you may have looked at before, but hopefully there's something there that you might have overlooked. While I may not provide a solution to this, I'm sure other community members could weigh in with one.
