Email is already in use, even after closing account binded to the email

Email is already in use, even after closing account binded to the email

Country : India.

I had an older spotify account binded to my other email, which I will call A for this purpose and my newer in use account using an older email which I will call B. I want to change the email on B to match that of A, but since it was showing in use, I closed A all together, and yet it shows that the email is in use. Would it be possible to use the email on the now closed account A for account B?

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.

 

If you've already closed your account with email A, keep in mind that the account deletion process can take up to 30 days. That means that you won't be able to use the email A for another account until the account deletion process finishes completely. Once it does, you can follow these steps to change your email.
