Cant rejoin correct family plan

Cant rejoin correct family plan

My Question or Issue

There was confusion about who was paying for the family account and I switched to the plan that ended up being cancelled and now I am being told I cannot rejoin the correct plan. I was literally on this plan for 4 years and on the other one for a month or less and was the unfortunate casualty when that was the one they chose to cancel. The customer service team said they can't help me and now I'm left having to write this hoping someone can just get me on the correct account that they are paying for 6 profiles. I LISTEN TO SPOTIFY EVERY DAY. PLEASE HELP ME I'M ENDLESSLY FRUSTRATED.

Hi there @Egnacik1,

Welcome to the Community!

Currently you can switch Premium Family plans every 12 months. Since you've already switched plans once, you won't be able to re-join the other plan with your account.

A workaround to this is to move your music library over to a new account, following this guide. After that you can be invited to the Family plan on the new account. It sounds like a bit of a hassle, but it doesn't take too long to do.

Hope you fond this info helpful.

The issue here is that spotify was duplicate charging on an error to both family members because one got erroneously kicked off and I started also getting erroneous emails saying my plan was about to expire when it wasn't. Because of this I was a casualty,  I ended up on the plan that got cancelled and now cannot get back on the plan that is being paid for 6 family members. I need a manual override. I don't have another email to just create a new profile with. I should be able to go back on the original plan, THEY ARE ALREADY PAYING FOR IT.
