Hi Trädtroll. To terminate a family plan the individual who manages the plan will need to cancel it. This will cancel the entire plan, as well as the premium for every user associated with that plan. Once this has been done, you can re-enroll for premium by yourself, and any individuals interested in continuing the family plan can create a new one on their own. Any premium you have left when you cancel will remain, so if you have two weeks of premium left, you'll retain that two weeks once you cancel your plan. Just note that if you do not re-enroll in a premium plan before your current premium runs out your account will revert to a free one. Please let me know if you have any other questions, and I hope this helps!

Unfortunately it is a little round-about, yes, but that's the way it is for now, at least. Please let me know if for whatever reason that doesn't work for you.
I actually have a similar situation but a little more involved. I accidentally signed up twice not realizing that I somehow had two Spotify accounts. I have my one account (daddyslipdisk) and another account (funkatopia). I wanted to sign up the funkatopia account for the family plan, but did the other one instead. I need to cancel the daddyslipdisk premium account and attached family account, but I would like a refund because I haven't used it at all. It's literally 5 minutes since I signed up.
First, where do I go to cancel it and where do I email to get a refund. I don't need two premium accounts.
Hey daddyslipdisk. As far as official policy goes, Spotify does not provide refunds. As far as canceling goes, you'll want to follow the advice mentioned above; have whomever manages the family plan cancel it, and then re-create it a second time with the right account included. It is possible that support may be able to merge your two accounts if you'd like, or perhaps help you another way. I would recommend getting in touch with support through this form, I make no promises but perhaps they'll be able to remedy your situation to your satisfaction. Please note that you will most likely receive an automated email back from support directing you to the forums or the FAQ page; just ignore that, and reply back directly to that email (even if it comes from a no-reply address), and support should help sort your issue out as soon as they can.
