Error code 3: Incorrect username or password

Is anyone else having trouble logging into the Windows app? I keep getting error code 3 even though the credentials I'm inputting are definitely correct. I'm using the same set to log into the site and they work fine.

I did not set up this account through Facebook.

Hey there!

Can you make sure to log in using your username instead of your email address?

Let us know how it goes.

Also make sure you're not using copy and paste, if you use your mouse to highlight your email address and/or your password and there's a space after your email address and/or your password it will also copy and paste that space.

For example:

"12345@gmail.com " <- There's a space

"12345password " <- There's a space

Just remember to type your email address and password, do not use copy and paste.

To clarify, when logging in to the app, if you have an username, it's better to use this than the email address.

You could also try to use CCleaner and clean your Spotify cache.

Had the same trouble. Found that Windows firewall was blocking it. (win 7. 64bit)
