Facebook Sharing not working - Please help!

Hi,

So I know how to share on facebook.l I have been doing to since always.

BUTTTTT

It stopped working. It says that it posts, but when I go on my Facebook wall, it is not there. I know that the sharing is working though, becuase it shares on my twitter.

My facebook account is connected to Spotify, and that is working fine, otherwise I would not be able to login.

Has anyone encountered this problem? Please help.

Connection to facebook failed. Have been posting my stuff to facebook forever, and this feature quit working a couple days ago.  I've checked preferences, logged out of everything, checked my facebook settings. Not sure where to go now. Using an iphone5c primarily.

Can anyone help with this?

Welcome at the Spotify Community!

Have you already to tried to logout and login afterwards? Sometimes something simple as this already fixes the problem.

You may also try to fix it by reinstalling Spotify. To do that, please follow the steps in the link below:

In the meantime - until there is a fix - you can right-click on a song (or press the 3 dots next to an album) and select "copy http link", then post ist manually on your or a friends wall.

I have logged out/in. Also, unistalled and reinstalled. Stil get the same message...see attached screen shot.

i actually tried doing posting the http link, but it doesnt work either.

it sas that at this time posting to my wall isnt working, but when i posting somethign else, that works.

Does anyone know if there is a problem with facebook and spotify itself?

Hi guys,

This could be caussed by an Facebook Permissions bug.

Could you guys try these steps:

• Log out from Spotify (Settings->Log out)
• Open and login at Facebook.com
• Go to the apps page
• Search for Spotify
• Remove Spotify (This can be found at the bottom  (App Terms · App Privacy Policy · Remove App · Report App)
• Open Spotify and Login using Facebook

Be sure to accept all required permissions.

It seems like more people having issues with facebook sharing at the moment. The Spotify team is aware of that and will fix it asap, I guess.

Spotify v. 1.9.0.1273 shares with Facebook but after a few minutes the post disappears from Facebook

I was told it was an issue between Facebook and spotify. Mine is currently working. It took a little energetic discussion between spotify customer service and myself, however within a couple days the problem has been resolved, and they credited my account for one month. In the end I was ultimately happy with the outcome, and appreciated spotify staying in touch daily. Work with spotify patiently and they should be able to help.

It is not working for me either. I just came here from Rdio. So please do not dissapoint me. I used Deezer too, before Rdio. And I was able to auto scrobble what I was listening  to on both services.

It's not just facebook - any link generated from any playlist won't open.

I used to be able to share posts on fb, but is not working now. Does anyone know when this issue will be resolved?
