Facebook and spotify again

When i open spotify either by the shortcut on my desktop or thru facebook and its app how do i get all the songs i play to show up on my timeline on Facebook?

From what i gather everything is ticked to show to friends

Please keep it simple

I am using windows 7

Hi @pash01 ,

You can disable that feature by going to Edit > Preference > Privacy > Tick off the "Share my activity and what I listen to on Facebook" and youre cool.

The box was already ticked though and it wasnt sharing.

If you go to your activity log on Facebook from your timeline, do the tracks show up there?

Yes they are on my activity log.

But they dont appear on the page where you write your status etc and thats the part i want it to show on,

It should appear in the "Recent Activity" box on the bottom left column of your timeline. Unfortunately as far as I know Facebook won't allow an app to constantly write to someone's actual timeline.

When a friend plays her spotify it shows up on her time line for all to see but she doesnt know what she has done to make it appear ;(
