Facebook linked to account but not updating

My facebook account is linked to my premium spotify, but it never updates my spotify account to reflect my facebook account (for example, my profile picture is one from years ago, and I've changed my profile picture on facebook many times since then). It also seems to glitch when I try to search for myself from other friend's accounts - they can't find me, even if we're friends on facebook, or my account shows up just as a series of numbers instead of my name if they are already following me.
