Im sure this has been covered numerous times so apologizes in advance. I am trying to login/setup my account however when I try to log in via facebook it tells me I do not have a spotify account connected to facebook. If I try logging in with my email and any of my potential passwords I get nothing. Reset password I get 'looks like I'm using my facebook credentials to log in' and if I try signing up my email is already taken! Can anyone tell me what im meant to do as quite frankly its ridiculous. I even tried posting on here only to find I have to log in? The whole reason I'm asking the question is because I cant log in! Thankfully I'm able to use my girlfriend's account.

If that's the case, I'd suggest to create a new account with a different email address from the one you use for Facebook. That will give you a Spotify username and password, independent of any Facebook account.
Once you have this new account, fill out the contact form, and someone from Spotify will be happy to help you migrate your Premium privileges (if you have them), library, playlists, friends, etc. to this new account.

I don't have another email address and I shouldn't have to do that. Why can't Spotify have a proper customer service where I can get this resolved?? (no offence to the community or your advice) It's ridiculous that there is obviously an account linked to my email address yet I can't at the very least delete it and start again!!
To get in touch with them, you should fill out the contact form, and someone from Spotify will help you within 24 hrs. Don't forget to check your spam folder for responses as they may end up there.
If you get an automated email directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you.
