Forgotton email and password and been paying for an app i cant access or use! please help!!

Forgotton email and password and been paying for an app i cant access or use! please help!!

So basically i got a new phone for christmas which meant redownloading the spotify app to my new phone. When i downloaded it i realised that i knew my username which is 'louisegriffiths1' but not my password so when i clicked on 'forgotton password' i entered an email which i thought was linked to this account however it was from my old spotify account which i created years ago.

This means that i am unable to access my account as i cannot remeber the email i linked it up to and i have not used the app for 4 months however i am paying £9.99 for an app i dont use. I would like some help on being able to access my account as it is becoming quite frustrating seeing the payments go out my bank each month but not being able to access the app or even cancel my suscription. I would create a new account however i dont want to be paying another £9.99 a month and i had made some (which i thought) good albums which took me months to create so i would really like some help please!!!!

Hey @user-removed,

 

Could it be possible for you to try for a password reset, with any other email account you might have used to create your Spotify account? If you're lucky to find it, that should give you access to your account again.

 

If not, log out of the Spotify website in your browser and fill out this contact form. Someone from Spotify will be happy to help you out.

 

Make sure you are logged out of any Spotify account in your browser when using the contact form or the username and custom email field will not show up. It is important so that you can enter the information of the account you are having trouble with. If you are logged in with a different account that is not having the problem, that account info will be used and support will be confused.

 

You should get a reply within 24 hours. Don't forget to check your spam folder for responses as they may end up there.

 

If you get an automated email directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you.
