Gifting Premium internationally

Hi there,

I live in Australia, and I wish to gift a Premium gift card to a friend who lives in Canada. I'm aware that since content licencing varies by country, eCards are tied to the country in which they are purchased.

I've found some dated posts from other community members here, who were told at the time that there was no way to gift Premium to someone overseas. Is this still the case?

I'm pretty sure you can buy gift cards for a certain country and give it to your friend in that country. Though, right now, Spotify Gift Cards is yet to be available in Canada.

It's available in the UK, though

Hopefully soon, they'll have gift cards in other countries like Canada.
