Hi There,
I logged in, and for some reason my account was downgraded to normal, I'm normally on Premium, and that's what I pay for.
So when I logged in, I went and upgraded again, thinking maybe my billing details were wrong?
When I re-upgraded all my Playlists were deleted, I've spent many hours making those!! I really want them back, can you help?

I am having the same problem. Disabled the check for showing what I was listening on Facebook and now it seems that I have a free account and all my lists are gone although my friends can still see me and I can see my own lists as if I was someone else. Please help!!

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂
When you registered, did you get a dedicated Spotify username and password or did you create your account using your Facebook account? If you have a dedicated Spotify username and password, just follow the steps in this post to sign back into your account with your playlists and subscription.
If you created your account using Facebook, get in touch with the customer services team using the online contact form and one of their agents will be able to assist you.

I am having a similar issue, My spotify app crashed and then when i restarted it I had been downgraded to a trial account. I went in and signed up again for premium but this has not solved the issue of losing every playlist.
Can you help please?
Hi laird789 - What happened here is you made a new account via Facebook yesterday. That's why there's no playlists.
I believe you've actually got 3 accounts with us. The other account I've found has no playlists and no previous subscription.
Mind letting me know which username you usually use? Together I'm sure we can sort this all out.

Hi Diego - I can assure you your posts weren't ignored. I saw you were troubleshooting with @hammeh in this thread and you mentioned you'd already used the contact form.

I definetly didn't intend to have a new account set up. The account i use is under my name Jordan Laird. I signed up to premium about 6(?) months ago (at least) and I have about 100 playlists, is it possible to find that one? Could you ensure I only have one account and that I am only paying for one?

Hi! I also got kind of the same problem... just a minute ago I was logged out of spotify for some reason..and when I tryed to logg inn a facebook thing of some kind came and I had to choose. I don't remember what it was :(.. but after i was kicked out again and I tryed once more to logg inn.. but then when I logged inn.. It sayd that my user was not activ, yet I was logged inn..with my name..but I had to choose to start as a new user..! and ALLLLL my songs and playlists and all was gone.. And I am a premium user.. but now it says that I am not. My friends says that when they look my name up on spotify they can see my user and all my songs... so why cant't i ?? cuse my user is like... restarted! o_O ... what to do what to do!??

Hi, I have been working abroad for the past 6 months and havn't logged in for a while and now I have and all my playlists I have made have been deleted! HELP! I spend hours putting together those music lists! Can someone help me please!! 😞

I just logged on to my Spotify on my phone today and all of the sudden I saw that all my playlists were gone. I then checked if the playlists on my computer were still there and they were gone too. I read that there is a chance that there are two accounts etc. but to be honest I have no idea what is going on. Anyone that could throw out some help would be great!
i figured out the problem
i had to go back through old emails to find my spotify name
i suggest you work on your forget password functionality
also a big warning beside the "disconnect from facebook" option in preferences...this seems to have caused all my headaches
can you please delete my [snip - mod]@gmail.com account as i dont want duplicate payments thank you...can you confirm this on here please

Hi! My dad got this account and his playlist with over 300 songs were deleted. He said he haven't deleted it. Is it possible to get it back?
Name of the playlist is itunes.
