When the service started ~ 4 years ago and no support was provided I realized it's reasonable to wait patiently until the service gets more popular and expands naturally. Since that didn't happen, I have to be brutally honest, and ask: what's the goddamn hold up? You guys had 4+ years to fix this. Spotify already rocks plenty of Israeli artists, but blocks listeners? I repeat: what's the goddamn hold up?? Mr. Sean Napster has billions, he can fix it, if he can get his lazy, raked full of cash bottom off the couch.
Get me a straight answer please.
Hey there @adi518 and thanks for raeching out in the community!
What do you mean? Spotify has the community to offer user to user solutions to everyone who wishes and for more difficult cases, they get escalated through here. Furthermore, there is always the contact form for users to contact Spotify directly and for anything that can't be solved here in the community. This is true globally, not just for Israel.
You should take under consideration as well the fact that Spotify is structured this way to minimize cost so that every user will benefit from a smaller prize for their product.
So, did you have an issue that could not be fixed? Try posting here in the right section and you will get help 🙂
In the meanwhile, happy Spotifying!

OP describes my issue. I'm tired of going around and hearing excuses and automated replies of why the service isn't available here, forcing us to use VPN and other unwanted 3rd-party payware solutions. Escalate this to the next board meeting. 4 years is enough wait. I mean, does Spotify really makes this much money that they just set it on auto-pilot and rake on the cash?
It looks like Spotify lacks some serious competition to get it motivated to actually work for it's users. I hope Google is cooking up something.

"happy Spotifying!" to a user in whose country spotify doesn't work.
Adding salt to the wound? A little sadist of you.

Shocking response to say the least. I moved on to make my own "Spotify" alternative.
Hello adi518,
So I can understand a little better. Are you reffering to some music not being available for your country?
No. It's completely inaccessible. They don't care because it's a rather small market to step into.
Hey again @adi518 🙂
Spotify is always expanding. Adding your support by voting to the community idea I posted above can help bring it to their attention. It can also help by keeping you updated on any changes on that, in addition to signing up here: https://www.spotify.com/why-not-available/
Hope this was a bit more helpful! I initially thought you had trouble regarding to finding songs from Israel and wanted to reach support, plus I never got a new reply notification. Let me know if you have more questions 🙂
