My Question or Issue

I've been using my mom's Spotify account and only recall vaguely if I had a Spotify account with my own email. So I tried to log in with said email through the username thing, "Email or username isn't linked to a Spotify account." I tried going through Google, "You do not have a Spotify account connected to your Google Account." I tried through Apple, "You do not have a Spotify account connected to your Apple ID." Then I try to sign up with the bar again, "This address is already linked to an existing account." Google, "This email is already connected to an account. Log in." And won't let me put any new info in. Apple? "This email is already connected to an account. Log in."  Same thing. It's not? Cause you just told me I didn't have an account like 3 times? What's going on? And how do I fix it?

Have you tried requesting a password reset yet? If not, you can do that here.

The password isn't the problem, and I tried anyway, "This email address or username is not linked to a Spotify account"

Thanks for the response!
Although I don't believe this is the case on your end, you'd normally get these kinds of errors when an account (and its associated login data) is scheduled for deletion. When e.g. an email address is still in use and not permanently deleted yet, you will not be able to use it for a new sign up. 

Alternatively, your account may have been disabled, which would also result in the abovementioned behaviour.

However, if nobody has requested an account deletion and/ or you believe this is an error, I'd advise you to contact our folks backstage by following the steps from the article 🙂
