I have the wrong facebook account linked to my spotify account

Hi,

I have no idea how but when I log into Spotify I now have my friend's Facebook account connected to it instead of mine.

I need to have it disconnected - I have followed numerous instructions (i.e. disconnected from Facebook under 'preferences') but it still continues to show her name on the top right hand corner when I log in and is connected to her account.

Can someone please help me disconnect her account from my Spotify?

I'm also getting the same problem. My friend's Facebook account is somehow linked to my Spotify account, and now he isn't able to log in to Spotify as he set up his account with his Facebook details. I've tried re-installing multiple times in addition to using the 'disconnect from Facebook' option in 'Preferences', but it does nothing. My friend said he also tried changing his Facebook password and then logging in to Spotify, but he keeps receiving the same error messages (404, 412). None of his Firewall settings are blocking incoming or outgoing connections of Spotify.

You should get in touch with the spotify support team by using the online contact form or by tweeting @SpotifyCares on twitter. 

If you get an auto reply back directing you to the help pages, just reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the employees will get back to you as soon as possible.

I would choose "Account & Login" -> "I can't log in to Spotify" since it is a login/facebook issue.

I have issue - my friend connected my facebook account to his spotify account, now when we try to disconnect with facebook i cant still connect my own spotify acc with facebook cuz it said that this facebook account is already linked with another spotify acc. Please help how should i solve it.

My friend signed me up with spotify premium (gift card for six months) but now when i log in i see his name on my profile in the spotify app and his facebook friends.

How can i disconnect it all and get back to the start with a blank profile and my username. Completely seperate to his account.

I have tried ot 'disconnect from everywhere' and force a full log out of the app

Hello,  i had another acct that was attached to my business facebook page..updated to the new facebook business and now i cannot login.. i only had the fb login no regular spotify acct.  i pay for premium and cant use it. tried to find ways to contact the company but there isnt even an email protal that i could find...PISSED  can some one help me with this before i just call the bank and cancel it???

Go to the settings page in the desktop app. There should be a disconnect from Facebook button. After that it can take 24-48 hours for your username to show instead again and for the picture to be removed.

It can take 1-2 days for the display name and picture to update to the correct one after connecting.

Was wondering how you go about changing your log in optpins so you don't have to log in with your Facebook credentials because I made a new Facebook account and deactivateD my old one but now I cannot acess my premium account so confused
