I've 'lost' my account

I've 'lost' my account

For some reason I Was logged out of my Spotify application and had to reset my password. Spotfiy seems to have  taken me back to what looks like an old account and  all  information has disappeared - all playlists, starred list etc have gone and my account has dropped down to Spotify Free.

 

I have never linked spotify to my Facebook account and kept the two separate so it's not that. I have contacted the help desk who have directed me  here. Please help! I'm such a Luddite when it comes to technology and feeling out of my depth.

Hey @Sweetermarquita,

If you got an automated reply email telling you to check the Knowledgebase or the Spotify Community, you need to reply back to it, even if it's from a no-reply address. Spotify Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.

Hey @Sweetermarquita,

It is highly unlikely that Spotify has disabled your account.

Please check that you have logged in with the right email, or that you have not signed in with a duplicate account. A good way to do this is to:

  • Try using a different common email you own.
  • Try using a different username to login.

If you have lost full access to the significant account, please refer to the links below to contact a Spotify employee so that he can take a look under the hood.

Spotify tends to redirect to the community; try replying to the email and surely an employee will check it out.

I seem to have the same problem; can't even log in - do not even get an email when trying to restore my password.

The same problem with all my devices (desktop, smartphone, etc.). Kicked out, basically.

Same issue with my account guys. Now I'm connected with Facebook (I wasn't) and lost premium account and all my songs.

Same problem guys!

 

I cant remember the e-mail linked to my account, and even so - I wouldn't have remembered the password to it anyhow...

Unfortunetly my account was premium, so how can I cancel the premium subscription and/or account without my password?

Hello,

I've lost my Premium account: aydin.kazemi@gmx.de.

I reached out to Paypal, an they told me that they received a repayment of my July Spotify fee from Spotify??

Please let me know what i can do to solve this problem.
