Is this a real Spotify account or is it a spam?

Hi,

 

I just got an email from below email address 

asking to confirm my Spotify account but I’ve already done that yesterday.

 

how do I know if this is a genuine real Spotify account or if this is a spam?

 

 


None of the below information is required. However, the more you provide the easier it will be for us to try and help.

(iPhone 8, Samsung Galaxy 9, Macbook Pro late 2016)

Operating System

(iOS 10, Android Oreo, Windows 10,etc.)

 

My Question or Issue

 

Has anyone received this type of email from the address you see on the screenshot?

I already confirmed my account yesterday and because I get so many spams, I am skeptical of this email.

Hey @dancingnomad,

 

Thanks for reaching out.

 

Since the sender’s email ends in @hello.spotify.com / @spotify.com, it’s a legitimate message from Spotify.

 

You’ll also notice a blue checkmark next to the sender’s name, which means that Google has verified their identity. This helps prevent spam, phishing attempts, and email spoofing.
