Joined premium, multiple billing charges and no response or contact info from Spotify!

Joined premium, multiple billing charges and no response or contact info from Spotify!

Hi all, 

 

I joined premium a few days ago and I see 6 different charges on my account, amounts for $1.07 (three times) and $5.37 (twice). I emailed customer support but have no received any response other than an email that says "thank you for getting in touch".

 

I do like the service but I am really displeased with the multiple charges and the complete vacuum of customer support! I have never seen anything like this! 

 

Anyone have an idea how to reach someone at spotify to get this stuff straightened out? My only other option is to contact my bank and report fraud.

Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.

If you still have not gotten a reply:

Did you get a confirmation email from the contact form? It should be similar to "Spotify Support Case #XXXXXXX". If so, reply back to that email and tell them you still need help.

 

If you got an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the community, you need to reply back to it saying you still need help, even if it's from a no-reply address.

 

If you never got an email, look in your spam folder to see if there is an email in there. Make sure you are checking the email account you used to sign up to Spotify. You can check the email on your account here.

Thank you for your help. I did get a generic response from Spotify but no help from them yet. I just want to make sure I won't be billed any more by spotify, theyve pre-authorized my credit card five times... I can't find any sort of contact phone number and doing things like this through email is slow and so far I haven't been able to resolve things.

If you reply back to the email from support they should reply back within 24-48 hours.

Thanks for your response Matt. Sadly I have yet to hear back from anyone at Spotify. I'll work with my bank on any additional charges from Spotify from here. It's sad to see such an interesting product plagued by such horrible customer service.
