Latest Version Breaks Last.fm

So this morning I restarted Spotify as it asked, and my Last.fm plugin disappeared entirely.  What gives?

You can still connect to Last.FM in the settings.

 

For the Last.FM siderbar app:

 

Spotify has discontinued apps.

You can read information about it here:
https://developer.spotify.com/technologies/apps/
