Login with a deleted Facebook account?

A friend is trying to register with an email-adress that's previously been used through Facebook. The Facebook account is deleted, so she can't log in that way. When she asks for a new password, it says that she has to ask Facebook for a new password, and if she tries to register on Spotify it says that the email-adress is already in use.

Is there anything she can do?

Have them contact support so they can help you clear up the email address so that you can create an account
