Lost Card

Lost Card

I lost my debit card that my spotify payment was taken from. Spotify tried to take the subscription from that card once I had stopped it at the bank.

 

I now have a new card and have ammeded the payment details on my spotify account - will Spotify try to take the payment from the new card automatically?

As long as you changed your card details in time, there shouldn't be a problem but it's worth checking your Subscription Status on your account overviewpage. If there's a problem you can get in touch with the payment team by using the online contact form and someone at Spotify can help get this sorted.

 

If you get an automated response directing you back to the community or to the help pages, make sure to reply to it directly to speed things along.

Also worth checking your email as you get an email when a payment fails. If your account is still on unlimited/premium then you should have nothing to worry about, and Spotify will retry the payment. 

 

If your account reverts to Spotify free due to a failed payment, it should just be a case of following the links from your online account to resubscribe.
