So, I'm gonna be as complete as I can be:
I made an account a few years back, using my existing facebook-account. I always buy prepaid premium, which is relevant later. It all works perfectly! 1135788505 is the account number, if I'm not mistaken. I followed a few hundred people/artists and I had like 50 playlists. Altogether not an account I would like to lose. Though that's exactly what happened somehow.
In an attempt to get rid of Facebook without actually deleting it (so I could still see birthdays of friends and stuff) I changed all my facebook stuff, including my primary emailadress and my 'official' name.
After this -the timing was just right- my premium account had expired and I had to pay for it again. So I logged in (on spotify.com/redeem) and filled in the code. Important: Since I changed my primary emailaddress in my facebook-account, I had to use that emailadress to log in. It seems like spotify didn't notice this, and handled it as if I was a new user connecting for the first time.
After I paid, I reinstalled spotify -because yes, everything timed together and I just got a new image on my laptop- and logged in using the same facebook account as I always used, with the new primary emailaddress. No playlists, no followers, no one following, nothing, not even premium. So, I click in the right top corner and go to my account on spotify.com. THE ACCOUNT NUMBER TURNS OUT TO BE CORRECT (1135788505). This is strange...
So, in another attempt to find out what happened, I log in at play.spotify.com. After having logged in there, and getting the same results as on the windows-based client, I find out that I'm now logged in to this spotify account: 11176381349. This seems logical, but I still have no clue as to what happened.
Concluding: There are now 2 accounts: 1135788505 and 11176381349. They both have no playlists, no followers/ing and no premium.
I would like to have my original account restored. And, if possible, I would like to unconnect that account to my facebook account, since I don't use facebook anymore and it has given me enough trouble.
Sorry for the long message, I hope you can help me:)
