My starred songs never stay

I've been using Spotify for a while, but for some reason if I star a song, it resets itself whenever I close the program and open in back up. It's always done this. I've never had my starred songs stick around so it's not like a had this huge list of starred songs that were recently deleted. What happens is I star some songs to keep then shut down my computer, and when I come back my starred playlist just says "Your starred playlist is empty. Add your favorite songs to it." Why is this?

Hi @vlgriffin That is strange indeed! 

A couple quick questions. When you sign in do you always use your username (rather than your email). 

Also, which Spotify app version are you using? Please let us know so we can keep investigating!
