Hi,
I would like to remove someone from my family plan however when I go to manage the family plan (I am the administrator) the only option I get is to change the family member. I don't want anyone on my plan anymore. Help!
Thanks!

Hey there!
Currently, you'd need to cancel your family plan and resubscribe at the level you want.

What's a Spotify Rock Star, and how do I become one?
Hi Kyle,
Thanks for your response! I cancelled my subscription and restarted it today. It says that it will only charge me $9.99 but the person is still linked on my family plan. So I guess I am ok?
That is correct! Glad to hear that this seems to have resolved it for you!

What's a Spotify Rock Star, and how do I become one?
Hi! I canceled my family plan today so I can remove 2 of the 4 members I had signed up. But when I go resubscribe and add 2 members only to my plan, I'm locked into 4. Is only having 2 subaccounts an option?
I've spent almost half an hour trying to figure out how to remove one person from my Family Plan (downgrade from four to three members). When I cancel my account and resubscribe, the only option is to renew the account at the previous level (4 members) and the previous price ($29.99).
How do I renew at the three member price ($24.95) with only three members?
Answering my own question - fyi, the only way to downgrade a family plan is by emailing Spotify support. They cancel your account completely, and then you can resubscribe with a lower number of family members. This is apparently being worked on so it can be automated. This is the URL: https://support.spotify.com/us/contact-spotify-support/ - follow it through "Subscriptions" and "Family Plans", and you'll get to the right place. They were very responsive once I figured out how to find this.

Hi there!
Thanks for the post.
Spotify is working on making it possible for users to reduce the number of subaccounts without cancelling your subscription. It will be available soon!
Thanks.

Hey Mary_Jay,
Can you let us know when to expect the update? I ran into server problems and now see that I invited one member twice. Due to the fact that I can't cancel the invitation: can the invited person just decline one of the invitations or does she need to accept both to make me able removing her at a later point?
Thanks in advance.

It doesn't seem to work correctly for me...I have 5 family members, when I go to MANAGE FAMILY option, I can delete 4 members, but the 5th one is undeletable. When I click on this person, I get 404 error. Weird enough, her account is actually still valid and working, she is still using my Spotify family plan. It seems that there is no other option but to delete whole Family Plan and create it again with only 5 people...
Hi all. I manage to found the solution!
1. Go to Accounts Page
2. Under "Subscription", Select Manage Members
3. Select the desired member
4. Under "Invit someone else", you can see the description says Remove this person’s access to your plan and invite someone else to it. Select Invite to remove the selected member.
Voala!
