Not getting password email

I am trying to set up spotify on sonos i request the email so i can set my password but it doesnt come. I have checked junk folders and added the spotify email to safe sender list etc..

 

When i signed up for the 30 day trial of Premium, i got the email receipt for that, but not the password email

 

HELP - its driving me crazy

You should hear back from customer services. 
The main topic for this issue is here if you don't hear back within 24 hours, post your case number there and I'm sure someone will chase it up for you.

Same issue for my Squeezeboxes.

I can't get my device password from https://www.spotify.com/se/account/set-device-password/ is say all the time "There was a problem sending your e-mail, please try again later"

I have placed a ticket #00413169

I have a premium spotify account and I need to get a password so i can log into a new product that we have developed to work with your service. We are going to be demoing this product in the next few days and cannot use this unless we get that password. This is vital to our demonstration not to mention it promotes your service. Please let me know if you can help me with this. Thank You. Kenwood USA.

I a free spotify premium account because I want to try out on my onkyo amplifier. To set this up I need a password via spotify applications. For this I would link on the email. However, this email within a password to it.
Email addresses spotify as safe in the email program added. How do I turn on the password which I can use spotify to set up my onkyo amplifier?

So, they can stream countless gigabytes of high-quality music to millions of people simultaneously, but it takes 2 whole days to generate a password?!!!  I'm having trouble understanding this!  Seriously!

 

Meanwhile, my TiVO is just sitting there at the login screen waiting for this "device password".

I need to change my credit card on the account so I can go back to the premium membership. I sent an email to the right email address to reset my password and I still don't get an email. I checked all the possible folders, added the Spotify email as a contact, and I have sent it many many times. I have tried everything. People posted about the same thing on the Spotify community, and no one could help. I couldn't find anything of much value on the help pages, and the twitter page hasn't posted of anything. Please help!

 

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

You will need to get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form (no login required) and they will be able to assist you further with this.

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

Hello hammeh, thanks for the feedback.

 

I contacted them and they sent me an automated message, and  I replied to them and they haven't emailed me back. I also can log in through facebook, but my problem is that it asks for my password to upgrade back to premium.

Give it 48 hours, if you don't hear back within that time (be sure to check your spam/junk folders) then post your case number here and I will pass it over to the community staff for you.

I am also having the same problem. I need to reset my password but i havent recieved the email to allow me to do this. Any help would be appreciated.

Just get in touch with the team directly here and they will be able to assist you further. 

If you get an automated email reply, just reply directly to it and your message will reach a person.
