My Question or Issue

 

Hello,

I have a problem receiving emails from the system for 'setting the device password'. My account is created via Facebook and I have access to my Facebook email (retrieved as Spotify email as well). Since my email is Bulgarian (mail.bg) I thought the reason for delivery failure may have something to do with that, however, I am receiving other emails from Spotify instantaneously (I even received a Community email when I logged for the first time a minute ago). Furthermore, there is nothing in my spam box, I have checked multiple times.

I have looked into changing the email (e.g. to my Gmail, so that it is well-known for Spotify), but since this is a Facebook account - I have to close it and re-create it which is something I really do not want to do.

 

Is there a way to notify the Spotify team directly? Is there a known workaround which I have not been able to find?

Any help/tips will be appreciated, thanks!

Let's try a little workaround the issue you're having.

Head to your FB account online and follow the steps

- Settings

- Security

- App Passwords

- Generate App Passwords

- Generate one to use with Spotify
