Password reset no email

Password reset no email

I have a premium account that I am paying for but cannot access my Spotify library anymore. My user name is good, but not the password. Did the password reset by email but did not receive an email or even a Facebook email. Please provide a solution. I don't want to have to cancel my credit card just to prevent being billed but will cancel it if it cannot be resolved quickly.

Hi @Lvettor. Are you certain that you are using the right email for the reset or the mail hasn't ended up in your spam box? It might be possible that your username is linked to another email address of yours; please check any other accounts you may have to see if the email has wound up there. 

 

 

Please try those options as they'll yield the quickest results. If you're still having issues though, for this specific instance I would encourage you to use the anonymous online contact form. So long as you are entirely logged out of Spotify.com (alternatively, access the form via an incognito window/private browsing) the form will allow you to use an email of your choosing for correspondence. Please make sure that this is an email that is not compromised and you have access to it.

In regards to the contact form, upon filling it out you should receive a confirmation email, usually a generic message containing the information you provided and instructions to visit these forums. If after 24 hours you do not hear back from a support team member, please reply directly back to the confirmation email, even if it originates from a no-reply address. If you do not receive this confirmation email, please check your spam folder. If it is not present there, please attempt using one of the other contact methods, or, if you are unable to use the alternatives, please let me know.

If you would prefer to not use the contact form, or require an alternative, either e @SpotifyCares on twitter, or the Spotify Cares Facebook page will work. Please be aware that responses may take anywhere from 24-48 hours depending on the volume of tickets support is currently handling.

@LordRollin I have a similar issue too. This mornng, I received 2 emails from Spotify (legit emails) – one was regarding password reset and one regarding account email changed. My email was changed to a "messy" email sourced to Germany or Denmark, perhaps? And I assume whoever changed the email also had access to my password as well because I cannot log in to Spotify using my existing password. 

 

As of now, I could still "log in" using my Facebook but all of my previous playlists have been erased or replaced with playlists titled in some kind of foreign language.

 

Could please also look into this issue?
