Paying for premium with Excella card

I recently got an Excella card (which is already activated) and put 20 dollars on it. I tried to renew my subscription, but I get " Oops, seems your card or payment provider is having a bad day. Don't worry, no money has been charged. Try again or use another payment method." error. My card works everywhere else, though. Does Spotify not support Excella cards or something? Is there a way to renew my subscription via Google Play in-app purchases instead? Thanks in advance!

We've had a look at your account and seen that the last few payment attempts have been declined by your bank. We'd recommend getting in touch with the directly mand make sure the card you'd like to use meets these requirements.

At the moment we don't support in-app purchases via Google Play, but you can subscribe anytime directly through us here.

That's the thing. It's a debit card that is issued through a Financial Services building (a check cashing place), so it's not associated with any bank.

Just to make sure, the card your trying to use works like a credit/debit prepaid card? We'd recommend checking it meets these requirements.

Yup! It works just like a normal debit card. I checked that, and it all seems to check out. I ended up spending the rest of my money to pay for another subscription because I kept getting the error everytime I tried. I'll put more money on it tomorrow and hopefully it works.

As it turns out, there was something wrong with my card! I was able to fix the issue and pay for my premium. Thanks for the help!
