Podcasters on Spotify - RSS Feed Author missing

Podcasters on Spotify - RSS Feed Author missing

Hello,

we tried to confirm our podcast via RSS feed within https://podcasters.spotify.com. The feed ist valid and tested with w3c Validator, but the confirmation process always says, that it needs a "Author". The Author is included and we aren't sure whats going wrong.

Maybe someone can help us?

PS: The feed URL in the picture is empty but actually there is the url to our feed

Hey @vinothekpdcst.

Thanks for getting in touch!

You can find our FAQ's related to Podcasts here. There's also instructions on how to contact someone in charge of the Podcasts in case there is something you can't find.

Hope it will work 🙂 Let us know if you have further questions.

Hey @G4G4.

Thanks for reaching out to us about this.

If you follow the link which @Guido included in his previous reply, scroll to the bottom of the page and you will find the contact information for the Spotify for Podcasters Customer Support.

Hope that helps!

I hope this is helping anyone that got this page after a submission error.

The guide somehow got it wrong, what you need to do is change from

<rss .. xmlns:itunes="https://www.itunes.com/dtds/podcast-1.0.dtd"

to

<rss .. xmlns:itunes="http://www.itunes.com/dtds/podcast-1.0.dtd"

Note the HTTP/HTTPS changed. Hope it helped

@ferdhie I owe you a beer, this has plagued me to 2 weeks and I could not find this answer ANYWHERE...

THANK YOU very much
