My Question or Issue

We have a family premium account for several years that we love but yesterday out of curiosity I went to glass throught my account information and came upon noticing the payments are taken from an old expired card.

 

This card is no longer active yet my premium account is still active and working. I am trying to trace back how such migration would fall apart and only event i can cross reference is when Spotify went through a massive restruction of they layout and settings.

Hey, @Olegtrassov thanks for reaching out to the community, that is weird!

 

If you are looking to change the payment method on your account I suggest following these steps: 

 

You can update your payment method by doing the following: 

  1. Log in to your account page
  2. Select Subscription in the menu on the left. 
  3. Under Payment Details, click UPDATE.
  4. Choose your payment method at the top and fill in the details. 
  5. Click CHANGE PAYMENT DETAILS to confirm.

All done! Your changes will take effect on your next payment. 

 

If you are trying to trace back when it kept using the card, you will most likely have to talk to your bank about that, although you can reach out to Spotify support directly and see if they can help.
