Problems with changed profile photo and profile name

Hey, I have the problem that my new profile photo and profile name are displayed on the homepage, but I can't log in with them. Because that only works with the old name. I find that quite strange.

Your username is meant to identify you on Spotify, which means you can't change it. However, you can update your display name at any time. The display name replaces the username where it shows on your profile in the app.

Also, keep in mind that you can’t use your display name to log into the account. To log in, you need to use the email address and password your account's registered with.

An option is to connect to Facebook, which will display your Facebook name in the Spotify app. You can then use the option Continue with Facebook to sign into your account as well. If you, however, add a Spotify display name, that will show instead of your Facebook name.
