Receiving targeted ads based on wrong location

Hello... Most ads I receive are the more generic national ads but sometimes I recieve ads that seem to be targeted to my location. Problem is, the ads seem to think I live in Raleigh, NC even though I live in Georgia. Can someone tell me why Spotify thinks I live in Raleigh? Where exactly does Spotify retrieve their location information? Is it possible there's a setting somewhere that I can change?

This may be because your account's country is set incorrectly. You can check what country your account is set to by logging in here: https://www.spotify.com/account/

Thanks for the reply. I checked and my country is set correctly (US). I think I should have specified that I live in the US state of Georgia (Atlanta, specifically)...not Georgia the country.

So, for whatever reason, Spotify is thinking I live in Raleigh, NC instead of Atlanta, GA. It would be interesting to know where Spotify pulls it's location information from because it's definitely not from my physical location.
